Home Style Methi Matar Malayi


  • 4 cup fenugreek leaves finely chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tomatos
  • 2 onions
  • 1 tsp Roasted cumin powder
  • 1 pinch asafotida
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 cup peas
  • 4 tbsp oil


In a pan heat oil and add cumin powder, asafotida and turmeric powder.

Now roast onion a little and add tomatoes and chilli

Roast them well.

Add fenugreek Leaves and peas and 1/4 cup of water.

Cover the lid anf cook for 10-15 minuts so that peas can cook.

Turn off the gas and add cream.

Mix well.

Add salt Nd mix again.

Reday to serve.

For more taste you can add butter.
